Ed Sheeran at the 3 Arena, Dublin on Friday 3rd October!

I was privileged enough to get to see Ed Sheeran live! My friends and I have been fans for the longest time, so with the release of his latest album and news of his tour we knew we wanted to go see him!

I think Ireland loves Ed! There was 4 nights in Dublin, in a row, all sold out! We managed to get tickets to the first night of his concerts. We queued in the downpour of rain for just over 2 hours... I literally felt like I couldn't move when they finally let us in, my jeans had absorbed most of the rain and i felt like I was dragging my legs behind me! It was worth it!

As a spoonie, you're probably wondering how did I cope with the travelling, standing etc? To be honest, I had to accept that I was going to be in pain. In an ideal world, I wouldn't have stood around, I wouldn't have bought a standing ticket and I would have arrived just before the concert started. But would that have been fun? For me...no!

I had an amazing time with my friends, my best friend was really considerate about people pushing against me, we couldn't exactly stop it but knowing someone had my back helped.

As you can imagine Ed sheeran was amazing, he performed just him, his guitar and a loop pedal for the whole performance, infront of 20,000 people each night... Just amazing! I loved the sections of the concert were he just improvised and used the audience participation as inspiration!

The warm up act (I hate calling them that) were Saint Raymond. I thought I'd never heard of him but apparently I had come across a YouTube video of his in the past so I knew one of the songs. His music was really unique and definitely something I'm in to. I've been listening to Saint Raymond since the concert so I guess that speaks for itself!

Here's a few photos from the concert...

I hope you're having a great week!

Much love, Beth xxx
